The NYS&W T&HS operations department is responsible for the planning and operation of the societies many trips thought the year.  The societies  hallmark trip is the "Steam On The Susquehanna" trip in the fall. This trip  originates at "Susquehanna Transfer" in North Bergen and winds through the New Jersey Countryside to the historic Bairds Farm in Warwick New York. Other trips operated are the Easter Bunny train ride and the Santa Claus Train ride.

In order to work on our trips you must be a society member, over the age of 18 and  be qualified by our crew trainer. Not a member?
